The brand emerged in response to critical gaps within the feminine hygiene industry: the absence of universally enforced safety standards, growing evidence and lived experiences highlighting the harmful effects of poorly regulated sanitary products and the significant environmental damage caused by conventional disposable pads.
At the same time, a silent crisis persists - period poverty continues to strip countless girls and women of education, opportunity, health, and dignity due to limited access to safe, quality menstrual products.

Ruby Rose has introduced world class technology to bring affordable, comfortable and reliable feminine hygiene products to all women regardless of their social status.

Our state of the art SABS Certified manufacturing facility was commissioned in 2024, is located in Paarl in the Western Cape and has a production capability of 350 sanitary pads per minute.
With meticulous attention to detail, we have left no stone unturned in our quest to bring the rest of the world to the southern tip of Africa, where we as a nation can reflect on our ability to compete on the world stage with pride.
